Kubota L260 tractor with loader
This a NO RESERVE sale for a L260 Kubota tractor with an Allied front loader. This is an older tractor with a 2 cylinder diesel engine rated at 26 horsepower.. This tractor also has glow plugs which enables cold weather starting with ease. It has a PTO with four different speed selections.
This is a 2 wheel drive tractor with a differential lock. This also has a High\Low range transmission. The front loader appears to be one that was downsized from a larger tractor.It has much beefier cylinders than similar tractors and the front loader is very powerful. This tractor has power steering. The power steering is good but not without some issues. The steering box mounts will work loose and will need tightened from time to time..
One of the bolts on the steering wheel side of the box will not tighten and will seep oil on occasion. The rear tires are loaded. One of the rear rims was very rusty around the valve stem which is typical. I cleaned and treated with a rust preventive primer and then paint. The surface looks very irregular but not intending to hide issues.
I bought this tractor used with close to 500 hours on it. I have owned it for several years and I believe the hours are accurate.This is a tractor that has a characteristically louder engine by nature than newer models. It has never failed to perform what was needed. This has always been parked inside as long as I have owned it. My Zip code is 44473 This is 48 state USA sale only.
