Ford 2000 Tractor, Runs Good
You are looking at a pretty good older Ford model 2000 Gas Tractor. Serial number C195642 , making it a 1968 model. Tractor starts and runs good with no smoke.
Tractor is running in the pictures. We drove it around and checked it out, everything seems to be ok.It is the "8-Speed" transmission, (4-speed plus the hi and low range, 8 speeds forward, 2 reverse) Transmission seems good, no funny noises. Steering is good and tight. Right hand brake is real good, left hand brake is fair.
3-Point Hitch seems to be good and strong. All of the tires are pretty good, front and rear, all hold air. Somebody has recently painted it, not a real great paint job, but it's blue and looks ok. Seems to be a pretty good old tractor, but keep in mind it is over 40 years old and it is not perfect. If you are not satisfied with it when you get here, you do not have to take it.
