This is a Baler Knotter Assembly by John Deere. It is for a 684 baler and the full number is E-68454. It was made in 1987. ^ It looks good with no obvious defects. Of course, it has been used and there are signs of usage.

The knife is a bit rusty, but has no nicks in it that I could see. ^ I have not tested it, and did not grease it, but I could swing the knotter back and forth without too much trouble.
