It has a ratcheting action design. There is a flip lever on the side to reverse the jacking direction. It appears to be somewhat sticky and could use some TLC to getting it working properly. It would just look great in your mancave! The jack is 14 1/2" tall when fully raised and is 9" high when fully lowered.
